What does it cost to hire a private investigator or detective?
Typical private investigator rates fees run between $ 60.00-$ 250.00 per hour depending on the agency. This is paid whether it is for investigative work or simply for time spent traveling to and from the job area. Then there is also usually a fee per mile on top of these fees that range from 20 cents per mile up to as high as .75 cents per mile.

All investigations are taken on a first come first served basis and a retainer must be paid in advance unless other arrangements are made. We will give you regular updates and you decide if you want to continue the investigation or not. Any amount of the retainer not used is refunded. Our main service area in red. $65.00 per hour for 4 hours - 7 hours. $ 500.00 for an 8 hour day. No other fees. Pictures, reports and video are included! No mileage fees or added expense ever!
We do investigations in the pink area for $ 600.00 ( Miami and Key West are higher,  you can check the Miami Investigation information here) per day and no cost for expenses. Two days in a row minimum. Your total cost for 2  eight hour investigation days would be  $1200.00.   No other expenses, no mileage fees or travel time expenses. This rate is all inclusive
How are your rates so low?
First of all, we do all of our own investigating in Florida. We do not farm out or subcontract to other agencies and collect a fee from you for doing so. We charge this rate to some agencies (government and otherwise) that we do workers compensation cases for...would it be fair for us to charge you more? We set our rates at a price to make investigations affordable for those who need it in these difficult times. We are experienced and dedicated, and have a heart. We take cases on a first come first served basis and will let you know if we can take your case when you contact us. We do get booked well in advance at times. We are a top notch agency.
